California High School Football - El Toro succumbs to San Clemente
September 29, 2006: Lake Forest, CA 92630 San Clemente Tritons (San Clemente, CA) supporters exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they observed their football squad thwart the host El Toro Chargers (Lake Forest, CA), 45-14 in a non-league challenge.
The Tritons now hold a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mission Viejo for a South Coast challenge on Friday, October 13. San Clemente will clash with a Diablos squad coming off a 35-28 non-league loss to De La Salle (Concord, CA). The Diablos record now stands at 3-2.
With the defeat, El Toro moves to 2-2 on the campaign. The Chargers host Tesoro (Las Flores, CA) to clash with the Titans in a non-league challenge on Friday, October 6. The Titans go into the challenge with a record of 0-4. Tesoro lost 42-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Esperanza (Anaheim, CA)
