Kentucky High School Softball - Powell County can't get by Jackson City
May 8, 2018: Jackson, KY 41339 In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Jackson City Tigers (Jackson, KY) softball team held off the visiting Powell County Pirates (Stanton, KY), by a margin of 5-4.
With the triumph, Jackson City moves its record to 12-9 on the year. The Tigers host Cordia (Hazard, KY) to play the Lions in a non-league contest on Wednesday, May 9. The Lions come into the contest with a record of 0-5. Cordia lost 16-1 in their recent league contest against Knott County Central (Hindman, KY)
