Magnolia Heights Chiefs (Senatobia, MS) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Simpson Academy Cougars (Mendenhall, MS), 76-73 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Magnolia Heights upgrades its record to 10-6 on the season.

Next up, the Cougars play the East Rankin Academy Patriots (Pelahatchie, MS) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 24. Simpson Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 19-12 season record.
