The Tyrone Golden Eagles basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting Central Dragons to 44 in the Golden Eagles league triumph on Friday.

The Golden Eagles now sport a 17-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tussey Mountain for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 11. Tyrone will confront a Titans team coming off a 58-49 league win over McConnellsburg (McConnellsburg, PA). The Titans record now stands at 13-6.

The Dragons (10-9) will now prepare for their contest against Penns Valley Area (Spring Mills, PA). The Rams enter the non-league contest with a 10-8 record. In their last contest, Penns Valley Area trounced Bald Eagle Area (Wingate, PA), 36-32, in a league contest.
