January 23, 2018: Rockville, MD 20852 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Smith Jewish Day School Lions (Rockville, MD) and the visiting Model Secondary School for the Deaf Eagles (Washington, DC), saw Smith Jewish Day School's basketball squad overcome Model Secondary School for the Deaf by a tally of 42-24.
With the victory, Smith Jewish Day School improves its record to 6-7 on the campaign. The Lions host Hebrew Academy (Rockville, MD) to confront the in a Potomac Valley challenge on Monday, January 29. The come into the challenge with a record of 8-6. Hebrew Academy won 67-38 in their recent league challenge against Washington Christian Academy (Olney, MD)
Next up, the Eagles confront the Field Falcons (Washington, DC) in a Potomac Valley challenge, on Thursday, January 25. Model Secondary School for the Deaf will attempt to improve on its 7-11 season record.
