West Monroe Rebels (West Monroe, LA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Mangham Dragons (Mangham, LA), 54-30 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, West Monroe upgrades its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Ruston (Ruston, LA) to play the Bearcats in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 26. The Bearcats come into the bout with a record of 9-2.

Next up, the Dragons play the Oak Grove Tigers (Oak Grove, LA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 21. Mangham will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 81-53 non-league loss to Sterlington (Sterlington, LA).
