Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Nansemond River Warriors (Suffolk, VA) and the host Western Branch Bruins (Chesapeake, VA), saw Nansemond River's basketball squad overcome Western Branch by a tally of 66-48.

With the victory, Nansemond River improves its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, VA) to play the Tigers in a Southeastern challenge on Tuesday, December 12. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 4-0. Oscar Smith won 47-45 in their recent league challenge against Great Bridge (Chesapeake, VA)
