The Penns Manor Comets basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the visiting Ligonier Valley Rams to 48 in the Comets league victory on Wednesday.

The Comets now sport a 4-4 record. They play next when they host Purchase Line for a Heritage contest on Friday, January 7. Penns Manor will meet a Red Dragons team coming off a 51-48 league win over United (Armagh, PA). The Red Dragons record now stands at 7-2.

The Rams (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Homer-Center (Homer City, PA). The Wildcats come into the Heritage contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Homer-Center edged Northern Cambria (Northern Cambria, PA), 61-51, in a league contest.
