Texas High School Basketball - Rowlett nips Sachse
January 27, 2012: Sachse, TX 75048 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Rowlett Eagles (Rowlett, TX) and the host Sachse Mustangs (Sachse, TX), saw Rowlett's basketball squad hold off Sachse by a score of 58-56.
With the victory, Rowlett improves its record to 17-7 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to South Garland (Garland, TX) to battle the Colonels in a 5A Region II District 10 challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Colonels go into the test with a record of 10-11. South Garland won 59-50 in their recent league test against North Garland (Garland, TX)
The Mustangs now own a 9-11 record. They take the field next when they host Lakeview Centennial for a 5A Region II District 10 test on Tuesday, January 31. Sachse will clash with a Patriots squad coming off a 71-50 league loss to Naaman Forest (Garland, TX). The Patriots record now stands at 15-12.
