The King Panthers (Houston, TX) basketball nipped the visiting Friendswood Mustangs (Friendswood, TX), 48-42 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Panthers (6-6) will now prepare for their test against MacArthur (Houston, TX). The Generals go into the non-league test with a 4-8 record. In their last test, MacArthur was tipped by Livingston (Livingston, TX), 69-61, in a non-league test.

The Mustangs now own a 7-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dawson for a 4A Region III District 24 test on Tuesday, December 13. Friendswood will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 90-40 league win over Clear Falls (League City, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 11-2.
