Arizona High School Basketball - Paradise Valley holds off Liberty

Paradise Valley Trojans (Phoenix, AZ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the visiting Liberty Lions (Peoria, AZ), 49-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Paradise Valley upgrades its record to 12-3 on the season. The Trojans host Perry (Gilbert, AZ) to play the Pumas in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 27. The Pumas go into the bout with a record of 9-5. Perry won 103-27 in their recent non-league bout against Mayer (Mayer, AZ)

Next up, the Lions play the Kellis Cougars (Glendale, AZ) in a II Section II game, on Thursday, January 10. Liberty will attempt to move on its 4-10 season record. The Cougars enter the game with a 6-6 record after their 70-46 non-league loss to Desert Mountain (Scottsdale, AZ).
