North Carolina High School Football - Northwood gets by Cedar Ridge
October 6, 2016: Pittsboro, NC 27312 The Northwood Chargers football squad scored 20 points and restricted the visiting Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves to 13 in the Chargers league victory on Thursday.
The Chargers now possess a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Webb for a Big Eight 3A battle on Friday, October 14. Northwood will play a Warriors squad coming off a 34-19 league win over Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 2-5.
Coming up next, the Fighting Red Wolves play the Orange Panthers (Hillsborough, NC) in a Big Eight 3A battle, on Friday, October 14. Cedar Ridge will attempt to advance on its 4-3 season record. The Panthers enter the battle with a 8-0 record after their 14-0 league win over Northern Vance (Henderson, NC).
