In Thursday's non-league match, the host Salem Lions basketball team scored a good 73-54 triumph over the Milan Indians.

In their next game, the Lions meet the Tecumseh Braves (Lynnville, IN) in a non-league match, on Friday, December 29. Salem will attempt to better on its 7-2 season record. The Braves enter the match with a 5-5 record after their 56-43 non-league loss to Christian Academy (New Albany, IN).
