Game Summary
For the second time this season, Mitchell Thompson had a huge day at Golden Valley. He had his second grand slam of the season and a "go ahead" 3 RBI double to power the Cats to a 14 - 3 win. Jared Ortiz had 3 hits and 3 RBIs. Jake Bernards and Casey Watkins each added 2 hits. Allen Sarkissian got the start and the win going 4 and 1/3 innings. Ryan Keller came in the game with the bases loaded in the bottom of the 5th and quickly struck out the first 2 batters he faced to end the Golden Valley threat. Keller went on to pitch another scoreless inning and Jared Ortiz pitched a perfect 7th inning on 5 pitches.
