In Tuesday's league match, the visiting East Wilkes Cardinals basketball team scored a decisive 63-42 triumph over the West Wilkes Blackhawks.

In their next game, the Cardinals meet the Wilkes Central Eagles (Wilkesboro, NC) in a Mountain Valley 1A/2A match, on Friday, December 16.
