Clear Brook Wolverines (Friendswood, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Travis (Richmond, TX), 52-44 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Clear Brook upgrades its record to 7-5 on the season. The Wolverines travel to La Marque (La Marque, TX) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 9. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 5-4. La Marque won 65-59 in their recent non-league bout against Hitchcock (Hitchcock, TX)

Next up, the play the Wharton Tigers (Wharton, TX) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 6. Travis will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 1-9 record after their 46-38 non-league loss to Cypress Falls (Houston, TX).
