With the victory, Union upgrades its record to 3-5 on the year. The Cougars travel to Park City (Park City, UT) to battle the Miners in a 3A Region 10 game on Thursday, October 19. The Miners enter the game with a record of 9-0. Park City won 55-34 in their recent non-league game against Lehi (Lehi, UT)
The Spartans now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to Logan for a non-league game on Friday, October 27. Emery will meet a Grizzlies team coming off a 21-14 league loss to Bear River (Garland, UT). The Grizzlies record now stands at 6-4.
