Texas High School Volleyball - Allen tips Leander
August 13, 2010: Allen, TX 75002 Allen Eagles (Allen, TX) backers left the game in high spirits Friday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting Leander Lions (Leander, TX), 2-1 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Eagles battle the Pearce Mustangs (Richardson, TX) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, August 17. Allen will attempt to better on its 5-2 season record. The Mustangs come into the match with a 4-1 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Marcus (Flower Mound, TX).
With the loss, Leander drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Hays (Buda, TX) to battle the Rebels in a non-league match on Friday, August 13. The Rebels come into the match with a record of 0-4. Hays lost 2-0 in their recent non-league match against Hutto (Hutto, TX)
