The Adams Central Patriots basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Lexington Minutemen to 28 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Friday.

The Patriots now sport a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Paul for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 6. Adams Central will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 38-35 non-league win over Sandy Creek (Fairfield, NE). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-8.

The Minutemen (2-9) will now prepare for their contest against Hastings (Hastings, NE). The Tigers enter the B District 7 contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, Hastings was routed by Kearney (Kearney, NE), 56-35, in a non-league contest.
