The Hamilton Huskies basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Mountain Pointe Pride to 44 in the Huskies non-league triumph on Friday.

The Huskies now sport a 13-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Basha for a I Section II contest on Tuesday, January 24. Hamilton will face a Bears team coming off a 71-56 league win over Desert Ridge (Mesa, AZ). The Bears record now stands at 18-3.

With the defeat, Mountain Pointe moves to 11-8 on the year. The Pride travel to Mesa (Mesa, AZ) to face the Jackrabbits in a I Section III game on Tuesday, January 24. The Jackrabbits enter the game with a record of 11-9. Mesa won 54-48 in their recent non-league game against Red Mountain (Mesa, AZ)
