September 28, 2018: Eddyville, OR 97343 The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Gilchrist Grizzlies (Gilchrist, OR) and the host Eddyville Eagles (Eddyville, OR), observed Gilchrist's football squad bounce Eddyville by a count of 65-18.
The Grizzlies now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Powers for a 1A Special District 4 (6 Man) contest on Friday, October 5. Gilchrist will play a Cruisers squad coming off a 46-35 league loss to McKenzie (Finn Rock, OR). The Cruisers record now stands at 3-1.
Coming up next, the Eagles play the Jewell Bluejays (Seaside, OR) in a 1A Special District 4 (6 Man) contest, on Friday, October 5. Eddyville will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record.
