The Fossil Ridge Sabercats (Fort Collins, CO) basketball crushed the host Legacy Lightning (Broomfield, CO), 69-39 in Thursday's league test.

The Sabercats (10-4) will now prepare for their test against Horizon (Thornton, CO). The Hawks go into the 5A Front Range test with a 6-8 record. In their last test, Horizon was trounced by Fort Collins (Fort Collins, CO), 61-44, in a league test.

The Lightning now own a 6-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Loveland for a 5A Front Range test on Friday, January 25. Legacy will clash with a Indians squad coming off a 56-45 league loss to Fairview (Boulder, CO). The Indians record now stands at 10-4.
