The Copper Canyon Aztecs (Glendale, AZ) basketball nipped the host Paradise Valley Trojans (Phoenix, AZ), 62-58 in Friday's non-league test.

The Aztecs (14-6) will now prepare for their test against Millennium (Goodyear, AZ). The Tigers go into the 4A West Valley test with a 7-6 record. In their last test, Millennium was tipped by Agua Fria (Avondale, AZ), 66-51, in a league test.

The Trojans now own a 13-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Saguaro for a 4A Desert Sky test on Tuesday, January 27. Paradise Valley will clash with a Sabercats squad coming off a 67-66 league win over Shadow Mountain (Phoenix, AZ). The Sabercats record now stands at 9-11.
