The Okemos Chieftains basketball team (Okemos, MI), dropped 36-26 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Grand Ledge Comets (Grand Ledge, MI)

The Comets now possess a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Johns for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 5. Grand Ledge will battle a Redwings team coming off a 58-45 league loss to DeWitt (DeWitt, MI). The Redwings record now stands at 1-3.

The Chieftains (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against Walled Lake Western (Walled Lake, MI). The Warriors come into the non-league battle with a 1-0 record.
