The Triton Hawks basketball team scored 73 points and held the visiting C.B. Aycock Golden Falcons to 38 in the Hawks league triumph on Friday.

The Hawks now sport a 16-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southern Wayne for a 3A Eastern Carolina contest on Tuesday, January 24. Triton will confront a Saints team coming off a 52-35 league win over C.B. Aycock (Pikeville, NC). The Saints record now stands at 14-2.

The Golden Falcons (3-12) will now prepare for their game against North Lenoir (LaGrange, NC). The Hawks enter the 3A Eastern Carolina game with a 0-15 record.
