Tennessee High School Baseball - Brighton gets by Central
March 19, 2012: Brighton, TN 38011 Brighton Cardinals (Brighton, TN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Central Maroons (Champaign, IL), 7-4 in a non-league test.
With the win, Brighton upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Cardinals host Gibson County (Dyer, TN) to battle the Pioneers in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 20. The Pioneers come into the test with a record of 3-1. Gibson County lost 8-6 in their recent non-league test against Greenfield (Greenfield, TN)
With the defeat, Central falls to 2-1 on the season. The Maroons travel to Ripley (Ripley, TN) to battle the Tigers in a non-league game on Tuesday, March 20. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 0-1. Ripley lost 7-0 in their recent non-league game against Trinity Christian Academy (Jackson, TN)
