New Mexico High School Basketball - Tucumcari overwhelms Penasco
December 22, 2017: Tucumcari, NM 88401 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Tucumcari Rattlers (Tucumcari, NM) and the visiting Penasco Panthers (Penasco, NM), saw Tucumcari's basketball squad wallop Penasco by a tally of 78-43.
With the victory, Tucumcari improves its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Rattlers travel to Newcomb (Newcomb, NM) to play the Skyhawks in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 28. The Skyhawks come into the challenge with a record of 7-6. Newcomb won 49-36 in their recent non-league challenge against Dulce (Dulce, NM)
Next up, the Panthers play the Robertson Cardinals (Las Vegas, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 2. Penasco will attempt to improve on its 2-8 season record.
