Alabama High School Softball - Hatton holds off Lauderdale County
April 24, 2018: Rogersville, AL 35652 Spectators at Tuesday's non-league match between the Hatton Hornets (Town Creek, AL) and the host Lauderdale County Tigers (Rogersville, AL), witnessed Hatton's softball squad tip Lauderdale County by a count of 5-3.
The Hornets now sport a 38-10 record. They play next when they host Lawrence County for a non-league match on Wednesday, April 25. Hatton will face a Red Devils squad coming off a 6-5 non-league loss to Hartselle (Hartselle, AL). The Red Devils record now stands at 22-16.
With the loss, Lauderdale County moves to 16-13 on the season. The Tigers host Westminster Christian (Huntsville, AL) to face the Wildcats in a non-league match on Thursday, April 26. The Wildcats go into the match with a record of 15-13. Westminster Christian lost 5-3 in their recent non-league match against James Clemens (Madison, AL)
