Texas High School Basketball - Texas knocked off by South Grand Prairie
December 29, 2014: Texarkana, TX 75503 The South Grand Prairie Warriors basketball team scored 51 points and held the host Texas Tigers to 32 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Monday.
The Warriors now sport a 16-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Keller for a non-league contest on Monday, December 29. South Grand Prairie will battle a Indians team coming off a 45-23 non-league win over Byron Nelson (Trophy Club, TX). The Indians record now stands at 12-4.
The Tigers (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Sulphur Springs (Sulphur Springs, TX). The Wildcats enter the 5A Region II District 15 contest with a 10-6 record. In their last contest, Sulphur Springs ran past Kaufman (Kaufman, TX), 67-37, in a non-league bout.
