Florida High School Football - Freedom held off by Sickles

September 21, 2018: Tampa, FL 33626

In Friday's league game, the Sickles Gryphons (Tampa, FL) football team tipped the visiting Freedom Patriots (Tampa, FL), by a final score of 7-3.

The Gryphons (4-1) will now prepare for their game against Plant (Tampa, FL). The Panthers come into the 7A District 8 game with a 3-1 record. In their last game, Plant got by Gaither (Tampa, FL), 44-34, in a league game.

The Patriots now hold a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wharton for a 7A District 8 game on Friday, September 28. Freedom will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 42-6 league loss to Wiregrass Ranch (Wesley Chapel, FL). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-4.
