August 27, 2011: Angola, IN 46703 The Angola Hornets volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Glenn Falcons to 0 in the Hornets non-league victory on Saturday.
The Hornets now have a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fairfield for a Northeast Corner challenge on Tuesday, August 30. Angola will battle a Falcons squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Marian (Mishawaka, IN). The Falcons record now stands at 3-1.
With the loss, Glenn drops to 4-2 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Adams (South Bend, IN) to battle the Eagles in a non-league match on Monday, August 29. The Eagles come into the match with a record of 1-2. Adams lost 2-1 in their recent non-league match against Washington (South Bend, IN)
