Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Ligonier Valley tops Marion Center

Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Ligonier Valley Rams (Ligonier, PA) and the host Marion Center Stingers (Marion Center, PA), saw Ligonier Valley's basketball squad knock off Marion Center by a count of 56-47.

With the victory, Ligonier Valley upgrades its record to 10-4 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Penns Manor (Clymer, PA) to play the Comets in a Heritage challenge on Friday, February 1. The Comets come into the challenge with a record of 11-5. Penns Manor won 56-39 in their recent league challenge against Homer-Center (Homer City, PA)

Next up, the Stingers play the Northern Cambria Colts (Northern Cambria, PA) in a Heritage challenge, on Friday, February 1. Marion Center will attempt to upgrade on its 12-5 season record. The Colts come into the challenge with a 2-11 record after their 77-22 league loss to Blairsville (Blairsville, PA).
