Ignacio Bobcats (Ignacio, CO) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Ridgway Demons (Ridgway, CO), 84-7 in a league bout.

With the win, Ignacio upgrades its record to 7-0 on the season. The Bobcats host Telluride (Telluride, CO) to play the Miners in a 2A District 3 bout on Saturday, January 13. The Miners go into the bout with a record of 1-5. Telluride lost 54-11 in their recent non-league bout against Bayfield (Bayfield, CO)

Next up, the Demons play the Telluride Miners (Telluride, CO) in a 2A District 3 bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Ridgway will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Miners go into the bout with a 1-6 record after their 54-16 league loss to Ignacio (Ignacio, CO).
