Georgia High School Basketball - Adairsville nips Coosa
January 27, 2018: Rome, GA 30165 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Adairsville Tigers (Adairsville, GA) and the host Coosa Eagles (Rome, GA), saw Adairsville's basketball squad hold off Coosa by a tally of 59-58.
With the victory, Adairsville improves its record to 13-10 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Sonoraville (Calhoun, GA) to play the Phoenix in a AAA Region 6 challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Phoenix come into the challenge with a record of 20-3. Sonoraville won 79-73 in their recent league challenge against Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe (Fort Oglethorpe, GA)
Next up, the Eagles play the Chattooga Indians (Summerville, GA) in a AA Region 7 challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Coosa will attempt to improve on its 9-13 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 19-2 record after their 50-45 non-league win over Trion (Trion, GA).
