Centennial Golden Hawks (Bakersfield, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Hoover Patriots (Fresno, CA), 5-4 in a non-league test.

With the win, Centennial upgrades its record to 16-3 on the season. The Golden Hawks travel to Bakersfield (Bakersfield, CA) to battle the Drillers in a Southwest Yosemite test on Wednesday, April 27. The Drillers come into the test with a record of 11-8. Bakersfield won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against North Salinas (Salinas, CA)

With the defeat, Hoover falls to 6-16 on the season. The Patriots host Fresno (Fresno, CA) to battle the Warriors in a North Yosemite test on Wednesday, April 27. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 18-4. Fresno lost 9-1 in their recent non-league test against Davis (Davis, CA)
