The Centennial Cougars basketball team scored 72 points and restricted the visiting Maple Grove Crimson to 62 in the Cougars league victory on Tuesday.

The Cougars now sport a 10-3 record. They play next when they travel to Robbinsdale Armstrong for a Northwest Suburban contest on Thursday, January 13. Centennial will meet a Falcons team coming off a 52-45 league loss to Maple Grove (Maple Grove, MN). The Falcons record now stands at 5-8.

The Crimson (9-4) will now prepare for their contest against Osseo (Osseo, MN). The Orioles come into the Northwest Suburban contest with a 11-1 record. In their last contest, Osseo beat Champlin Park (Champlin, MN), 59-49, in a league contest.
