Louisiana High School Basketball - Easton overwhelms Reed
January 18, 2011: New Orleans, LA 70119 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Easton Eagles (New Orleans, LA) and the visiting Reed Olympians (New Orleans, LA), saw Easton's basketball squad trounce Reed by a score of 50-12.
With the victory, Easton improves its record to 16-4 on the campaign. The Eagles host O. Perry Walker (New Orleans, LA) to play the Chargers in a 4A District 10 challenge on Friday, January 21. The Chargers come into the challenge with a record of 1-15. O. Perry Walker lost 53-33 in their recent league challenge against Karr (New Orleans, LA)
Next up, the Olympians play the McDonogh 35 Roneagles (New Orleans, LA) in a 4A District 10 challenge, on Friday, January 21. Reed will attempt to improve on its 1-15 season record. The Roneagles come into the challenge with a 16-6 record after their 49-39 non-league loss to Archbishop Chapelle (Metairie, LA).
