Maryland High School Basketball - Chopticon winner over Leonardtown
January 9, 2009: Leonardtown, MD 20650 The Chopticon Braves (Morganza, MD) basketball knocked off the host Leonardtown Raiders (Leonardtown, MD), 46-35 in Friday's league test.
The Braves (9-1) will now prepare for their test against McDonough (Pomfret, MD). The Rams go into the Southern Maryland test with a 4-9 record. In their last test, McDonough was beaten by Lackey (Indian Head, MD), 70-45, in a league test.
The Raiders now own a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they host Northern for a Southern Maryland bout on Sunday, January 11.
