Grimsley Whirlies (Greensboro, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Northwest Guilford Vikings (Greensboro, NC), 66-58 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Grimsley upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Whirlies travel to Ragsdale (Jamestown, NC) to encounter the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 1. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Ragsdale lost 70-55 in their recent non-league bout against Eastern Guilford (Gibsonville, NC)
