North Carolina High School Basketball - Carson thwarted by Concord

December 15, 2015: Concord, NC 28025

The Carson Cougars basketball team (China Grove, NC), was toppled 95-82 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Concord Spiders (Concord, NC)

The Spiders now possess a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Rowan for a South Piedmont 3A battle on Friday, December 18. Concord will confront a Falcons team coming off a 74-33 non-league win over South Iredell (Statesville, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 3-3.

The Cougars (5-3) will now prepare for their battle against Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC). The Tigers come into the non-league battle with a 2-6 record. In their last battle, Mount Pleasant was toppled by Weddington (Matthews, NC), 66-27, in a non-league battle.
