The Central Academy Cougars topped the visiting Parkwood Rebels volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Monday's non-league test.

The Cougars now have a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Forest Hills for a 2A/1A Conference 11 test on Wednesday, August 31. Central Academy will confront a Yellowjackets team coming off a 3-2 league win over Union Academy (Monroe, NC). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 3-2.

The Rebels (2-3) will now prepare for their game against Piedmont (Monroe, NC). The Panthers enter the non-league game with a 3-2 record.
