Stevens Academy Eagles (Blue Hill, ME) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Central Red Devils (East Corinth, ME), 71-35 in a league bout.

With the win, Stevens Academy upgrades its record to 6-1 on the season. The Eagles host Narraguagus (Harrington, ME) to play the Knights in a C North bout on Thursday, January 4. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 1-7. Narraguagus lost 75-49 in their recent non-league bout against Washington Academy (East Machias, ME)

Next up, the Red Devils play the Bucksport Golden Bucks (Bucksport, ME) in a C North bout, on Thursday, January 4. Central will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Golden Bucks go into the bout with a 5-2 record after their 86-37 league win over Sumner (East Sullivan, ME).
