Pacifica Tritons (Oxnard, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the host Morro Bay Pirates (Morro Bay, CA), 38-35 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Pacifica upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Tritons travel to Rio Mesa (Oxnard, CA) to encounter the Spartans in a non-league bout on Friday, December 23. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 9-3. Rio Mesa won 44-33 in their recent non-league bout against Oak Park (Oak Park, CA)

Next up, the Pirates encounter the Oak Park Eagles (Oak Park, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 23. Morro Bay will attempt to upgrade on its 7-3 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 8-5 record after their 44-33 non-league loss to Rio Mesa (Oxnard, CA).
