California High School Basketball - Frontier holds off Stockdale

January 20, 2011: Bakersfield, CA 93314

Frontier Titans (Bakersfield, CA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Stockdale Mustangs (Bakersfield, CA), 75-72 in a league bout.

With the victory, Frontier upgrades its record to 13-7 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Independence (Bakersfield, CA) to play the Falcons in a Southwest Yosemite bout on Tuesday, January 25. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 10-8. Independence lost 57-32 in their recent league bout against Liberty (Bakersfield, CA)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Bakersfield Drillers (Bakersfield, CA) in a Southwest Yosemite bout, on Tuesday, January 25. Stockdale will attempt to upgrade on its 8-8 season record. The Drillers come into the bout with a 18-2 record after their 71-50 league win over Centennial (Bakersfield, CA).
