Pennsylvania High School Football - Purchase Line felled by Marion Center

September 7, 2018: Commodore, PA 15729

In Friday's league game, the Marion Center Stingers (Marion Center, PA) football team were victorious over the host Purchase Line Red Dragons (Commodore, PA), by a score of 20-8.

The Stingers (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Homer-Center (Homer City, PA). The Wildcats come into the Heritage game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Homer-Center knocked off Penns Manor (Clymer, PA), 30-28, in a league game.

The Red Dragons now sport a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northern Cambria for a Heritage game on Friday, September 14. Purchase Line will battle a Colts team coming off a 36-14 league win over West Shamokin (Rural Valley, PA). The Colts record now stands at 3-0.
