Griffin Bears (Griffin, GA) fans left the game content Thursday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Mt. Zion Bulldogs (Jonesboro, GA), 28-13 in a league test.

With the triumph, Griffin improves its record to 3-4 on the campaign. The Bears host Pike County (Zebulon, GA) to battle the Pirates in a AAAA Region 4 test on Friday, October 23. The Pirates come into the test with a record of 0-6.

With the loss, Mt. Zion drops to 1-6 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Pike County (Zebulon, GA) to battle the Pirates in a AAAA Region 4 test on Friday, October 16. The Pirates come into the test with a record of 0-6. Pike County lost 35-0 in their recent league test against Riverdale (Riverdale, GA)
