October 25, 2013: Radford, VA 24141 In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Giles Spartans football squad scored a close 14-7 victory over the Radford Bobcats.
In their next game, the Spartans clash with the Floyd County Buffaloes (Floyd, VA) in a 2A Conference 38 match, on Friday, November 1. Giles will attempt to move on its 8-0 season record. The Buffaloes enter the match with a 2-6 record after their 42-14 non-league win over Eastern Montgomery (Elliston, VA).
The Bobcats (3-5) will now prepare for their match against Glenvar (Salem, VA). The Highlanders enter the non-league match with a 5-3 record. In their last match, Glenvar held off Auburn (Riner, VA), 35-20, in a non-league match.
