Washington High School Soccer - Capital trounced by Peninsula
March 20, 2018: Gig Harbor, WA 98332 In Tuesday's league game, the Peninsula Seahawks (Gig Harbor, WA) soccer squad overwhelmed the visiting Capital Cougars (Olympia, WA), by a final score of 5-0.
The Seahawks (3-1) will now prepare for their game against Timberline (Lacey, WA). The Blazers go into the 3A South Sound game with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Timberline was overwhelmed by Gig Harbor (Gig Harbor, WA), 6-0, in a league challenge.
The Cougars now possess a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host Yelm for a 3A South Sound challenge on Thursday, March 22. Capital will confront a Tornados team coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to Black Hills (Tumwater, WA). The Tornados record now stands at 0-4.
