Rice Bulldogs (Rice, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting West Rusk Raiders (New London, TX), 75-51 in a league bout.

With the win, Rice upgrades its record to 14-12 on the season. The Bulldogs host Eustace (Eustace, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a 3A Region III District 18 bout on Tuesday, January 27. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 5-12. Eustace lost 74-43 in their recent league bout against Arp (Arp, TX)

Next up, the Raiders play the Arp Tigers (Arp, TX) in a 3A Region III District 18 bout, on Tuesday, January 27. West Rusk will attempt to upgrade on its 10-7 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 8-9 record after their 74-43 league win over Eustace (Eustace, TX).
