Olathe East Hawks (Olathe, KS) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Washburn Rural Blues (Topeka, KS), 60-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Olathe East upgrades its record to 24-0 on the season. The Hawks travel to Derby (Derby, KS) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league bout on Saturday, March 10. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 24-1. Derby won 42-40 in their recent non-league bout against South (Wichita, KS)
